Daylon®

Daylon® is a synthetic, non-absorbable, sterile surgical monofilament suture composed of long-chain aliphatic polyamide polymers. It is engineered to deliver precise tissue approximation and dependable performance in delicate surgical procedures requiring fine control and minimal tissue trauma.

The monofilament construction allows smooth passage through tissue without sawing, while maintaining excellent knot security and reliable tie-down characteristics. Daylon® provides good handling and consistent performance, making it suitable for both microsurgical and general soft tissue applications.

The suture is available in black color for microsizes (USP 11/0 to USP 8/0) and blue color for sizes USP 6/0 to USP 2, enabling easy visibility and selection according to surgical requirements.

Daylon® is ideally suited for microsurgery, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, as well as plastic and reconstructive surgery, soft tissue approximation, ligation, and drain fixation. It is supplied sterile and intended for single-use surgical procedures.
